Vintage. Sharp. Bright red fruit with golden russet. Sweet rich flavour with a tang. An old variety, probably originating from Hereford. It produces a light, medium brisk cider that makes a useful contribution to a blend. An excellent dessert apple which gives it a dual purpose.
