A little note in regards to choosing rootstocks: 

Rootstocks are the root system that the apple variety is grafted on.  The roostock is specific to different soil type tolerances & determines the size of the tree. 

Forgotten Fruits have selected a range of apple rootstocks for this very reason.  Please choose the rootstock that is best suited to your specific soil type. Options are available where applicable in the dropdown menu per apple variety.
